Hi, my name is Celia Feldman! On Sunday, May 19th, I’ll be walking/running to raise awareness and funds for an organization and a community that has a special place in my heart.

Friendship Circle Upper East Side works every day to cultivate friendships between kids, teens and young adults with special needs and dedicated teen and young adult volunteers, providing social and recreational opportunities that are otherwise unavailable to individuals with special needs.
Once a week, I visit a young boy with special needs. We play games, talk, laugh, and have fun! Over the past year, we have grown so close and I look forward to seeing him every week! Each time he opens the door to let me in his home, I enjoy watching the smile form on his face. Both our faces light up and we have the time of our lives. By the end of our time together, we both know that we made each other’s day!
Friendship circle motivates me to be a better person who helps others, while building friendships with them along the way!

Now more than ever, I’m inspired to continue supporting this special community. Anything you can give to support my walk/run will be so appreciated and go such a long way. Thank you so much!
