Hi!! On Sunday, May 19th I’ll be walking/running to raise awareness and funds for an organization and a community that has a special place in my heart. Friendship Circle Upper East Side cultivates friendships between kids, teens and young adults with special needs and dedicated teen and young adult volunteers, providing social and recreational opportunities that are otherwise unavailable to individuals with special needs. I’ve made many new friendships through friendship circle. Every thursday night my friend and I hang out with Brocha from friendship circle. We always have the best time and play so many fun games! I look forward to my time with Brocha every week. Additionally, with my school, I zoom with people around my age and we dance, play games and share stories about our weekends. It’s so nice to be able to build such amazing friendships and become so close with so many new people. Now more then ever I’m inspired to continue supporting this amazing organization!
